Development and training
Our single most important resource is the quality of our staff. We are committed to the development of this key resource.
Staff development is applied in the widest sense and includes mentoring, individual learning, job shadowing, exchanges and conferences in addition to research and course based learning. All are actively supported by the University with the latest technology such as eLearning.
Developing staff has three clear purposes - to enable staff to:
-
meet the requirements and expectations of their faculty or professional service Strategic Plan and the University Strategic Plan
-
make a full contribution to the work of their faculty or professional service
-
develop their effectiveness, increase job satisfaction and achieve their personal potential.
